Charlestown & District Meals on Wheels has been improving the lives of our locals for over 50 years with a friendly smile and a nourishing meal.

Meals

Freshly cooked, delicious & nutritious meals delivered hot 3 times a week. Frozen or chilled meals are available as well.

We offer a range of meals to suit a client's nutritional needs and can accommodate special dietary requirements such as diabetic friendly meals, gluten free meals and client taste preferences.

Whether you need a temporary arrangement as you recover from an illness or injury, or on a more permanent basis, we can find something to suit you.

Eligibility

You are eligible to receive meals if:

You're 65 years or older,
Are registered for My Aged Care,
Are registered with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), or
Are younger with a disability and registered under National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

People can refer themselves, or be referred by a health care professional, relative, friend or hospital.

We can help with My Aged Care registration if required.

Home Care Package

If you are on a Home Care Package (HCP), we can offer you healthy meal options for even less.

To start receiving meals as part of your Home Care Package, please contact your Home Care Package Provider.
